My name is Melissa Chilson and I am a director with a specialization in music videos, short films and advertisement. I enjoy collaborating with artists and creators who have similar goals of waking up the world and creating visual, sound-indulgent experiences that are thought-provoking and transportive. I want to intertwine emotion, love, pain, depth… film has been my language since before I can remember.
Colors are extremely important to me. I feel them all over my body… the way they all bleed together and inform one another. Through my work, I will always transport you to a world that your eyes won't want to leave. A world filled with colors that have been given careful thought.
Music videos are an art form that I hold very dear. Songs have made me see visions ever since I was a little girl. To intertwine an artist's dreams with my own, and create a visual world out of their song is a life-giving experience to me.
